Very friendly service and very tasty food, especially goulash with Bohemian dumplings tastes great.

Interestingly designed half-timbered building. Definitely an eye-catcher. In the outdoor area, tables with delicious offers.

Naaaaa ... yes ... Sorry, but nothing has arrived there after thirty years ... Not the behavior of the guests, not the ambience of the establishment OK ... the feeling of eating in a GDR style restaurant is deceptively real here except for one thing ... price / performance ratio is absolutely not justified ... The service seemed overwhelmed and the corona rules were only adhered to to a limited extent For us, the bottom line ... We don't eat there anymore.

Delicious food without long waiting times. They have excellent venison from the Harz Mountains.

Today was closed! Because of a road closure. BUT! We were there. From Blankenburg the road was free to Cattenstetdt. Who knows when we'll be back in the area.

Great food! Regardless of whether you are a couple or in a larger group, the food is always delicious and instantly on the table! The owner is very friendly and always tries to fulfill all requests! We have been going there for years and are always delighted with the delicious food! Extra requests are always catered for and an effort is made to prepare a delicious meal even for vegetarians. That is not a matter of course in such small restaurants!

The original!! Super delicious food for years. Everything freshly prepared and cooked with love and talent. You can easily tell that the chef and the owner delighted the guests. It's nice that such a small family business is holding up and not giving up on the big chains! Can only recommend the restaurant! It's a shame that there are only five stars, would have liked to have given more!

Food delicious and reasonably priced; if we had been allowed to eat our food at the same time, there would have been full stars. We will definitely try again.
